In the torture chamber, 20 medieval torture instruments are on display for viewing and, to some extent, trying out. And it’s far from a joke – they are all in working order and if we were really in the Middle Ages, no one would want to enter this room.

But let’s list some of these instruments here. On display are: Judas’ cradle, Spanish horse, flute of shame, heretic’s fork, violin of shame, stretching bench, chair with thorns, scold’s bridle, pillory, strapado and so many more…
